What Is the AMSCO Serenity Collection?
Serenity is AMSCO’s sound-control window line. AMSCO has been building windows since 1949 at its plant in Salt Lake City, Utah. Each Serenity window combines a deep vinyl frame with triple glazing: an insulated glass unit plus a separate third pane using glass of different thicknesses. Varying the thickness helps block a wider range of noise.

STC ratings of 40 to 47, per AMSCO, depending on style and glass package.

• Positive action locks engage when the sash is fully closed.
• Single-hung windows use a tuned block-and-tackle balance system; sliders run on tandem nylon rollers.

Styles, colors and grids
• Styles: single-hung, horizontal slider, picture, casement and awning, with specialty shapes available. Serenity does not come in double-hung.
• Custom sized to the nearest 1/8 inch, with retrofit flush-fin and new-construction nail-fin options.
• Colors: white or taupe vinyl, plus painted exterior colors including black, cream, gray, silver, clay, red, bronze, brown, dark brown, green, forest green and olive.
• Grids: flat or sculptured grids sealed between the glass, or simulated divided lites outside.
Warranty
Serenity windows come with the AMSCO Limited Warranty. For an owner-occupied single-family home it lasts 20 years from installation; painted finishes are covered for 10 years. It covers manufacturing defects, not installation, glass breakage or labor. Full terms are in AMSCO’s warranty document. Claims go through the dealer who sold the windows, so having us in Montgomery County helps.
